First thing's first, I am soooo sorry that this is happening to you. 2020 was supposed to be one hell of a year for you, and my heart is breaking just thinking about the anxiety and stress that this pandemic has likely been causing you and your loved ones. I want you to know that I am here to help you navigate this extremely challenging time, and that no matter how much your wedding plans change, I am still committed to being your wedding videographer!
To those of you who have already reached out to understand your options, or to postpone your big day: kudos to you for handling this unprecedented situation with such grace, kindness and positivity. I'm not sure what I did to deserve such amazing clients, but dang, I'm one lucky wedding videographer!
I hope you find the information on this page useful. I will keep adding to it as the situation evolves and as I receive more questions from my brides! If you have any questions or concerns, my virtual door is always open — feel free to schedule a FaceTime chat with me, or to send me a DM and/or email if your wedding plans change, to vent, or just to get your mind off things. You are all so important to me, and if there is anything at all that I can do to make your lives easier, just give me a shout!
Prior to COVID-19, the rescheduling policy in the Dear Darling contract only covered weddings that were postponed within the same calendar year — obviously, as you can imagine, the circumstances have made us have to expand our rescheduling policy to accommodate couples who wish to reschedule into the following year.
If you eventually decide that you need to postpone, you have a couple of options:
OPTION 1: Choose a later date in 2021 (weekends OR weekdays), and as long as we are available, we will move your date free of charge.
OPTION 2: Choose a 2022 date (weekends OR weekdays), and as long as we're available, we will move your date free of charge.
Once you've officially decided to move forward with a new date, we will send you a new contract to sign. It should be a duplicate of your last contract, with the only difference being your new wedding date!
If you need to let your guests know that you are officially postponing, Avi Scribbles Art Co. is offering a totally FREE digital download so you can notify your guests by email or by mail (print at home and post yourself), without compromising style.
